Am I the only one who has gone through the past week and a half thinking it was the wrong day? I'm so off x_x
I'm starting up in earnest at the gym again on Monday. I can't wait for the day to get here so I can just get it over with. On Mondays I have to wake up early AND stay out late :(
(hopefully forcing myself to get up at 4AM again will finally reset the horrible habit of going to bed at 1~2AM that I've had ever since Thanksgiving)
I've reset my weight loss goal to be 10 pounds by my birthday. Technically that's totally doable! That's only a little more than a pound a week... Granted, I said the exact same thing back in June, but it's surely gonna happen this time!

Ugggggggh, the cedar counts have been totally killing me this week! I can't stop scratching my arms and legs. I should probably be supplementing my dailies with Benadryl, but that would just make me drowsy all the time :\
Random J-pop thoughts:
- The Aku Yu tribute album was actually pretty good. I prefer Dance With You, but they did a good job on modernizing the tracks. Some of the NEXT GENERATION girls are actually pretty decent as well.
- Ever since I saw MiChi on Music Station the other week, I've been listening to her single pretty regularly. Seems like she's someone to keep an eye on.
- Ikimono Gakari's new album bores me to tears ;_;
- I refuse to listen to samples of Kumi's new album. REFUSE!! I burned through Kingdom so fast I can't even remember any of it :(
I get to take the cats to the vet tomorrow. Yay... I'm sure looking forward to a car ride with crying carsick cats and the high vet bill associated with doping Ping up. Here are some pics to remind myself that they're not just a couple of brats:

Things that happened:
- A couple of things that practically nobody knows about
- Finally graduated
- Finally got a full-time job
- Broke the 1x5lb barrier
- Joined the gym again
- Started practicing Japanese again
- Started dying my hair
- Met a lot of people
- Returned to my J-pop roots
- Bought a tablet PC
Things that did not happen:
- Reach my weight loss goal
- Take the JLPT
- Make a dent in my debt
- Finish a single game
- Work on my websites
- Complete Search for the Puddles
- Use the tablet PC
Things that will happen in 2009:
- Lose 20 pounds (10 by my birthday?)
- Pay off at least two credit cards
- Go to Japan (if SPEED tours)
- Complete J-Shelf
- Port Search for the Puddles to C++
- Start drawing again
- ...

I am dumbfounded by this. They finally kicked out Yukinari (honestly I'm surprised it didn't happen after his DV incident), and added 7 random dancers to replace him! Good going, Vision Factory!
Gee, I guess after SPEED and MAX reunited, it was just too much to ask for a proper DA PUMP reunion. |

I have to keep telling myself that.
Last night I was lying down on the couch and Ping was perched up above. The two started fighting, and one of them jumped down and used my face as a launching pad. Now I've got a lovely scratch spanning from right below my left temple to the middle of my upper lip.
After sitting there in shock for a moment (thought the wetness was my tears--nope! It was my blood!), I set about cleaning it up only to realize I didn't have any band-aids or anything except for some Neosporin. No biggie, right? I could just drive over to CVS or something. It'd give me a chance to use up the last of my HSA from the temp agency.
NOPE!
My. car. won't. start.
Pop the hood, and what do I see? A buttload of corrosion around one of the battery terminals that was supposedly taken care of with protective sealant by Lamb's. Never mind that I just went in to change my oil last Saturday, and they didn't bother mentioning that the corrosion was back.
Now I'm stuck with a dilemma. They're not open on Sundays, so I either need to find some other place (probably Walmart) or take care of it tomorrow morning and risk being late to work (and that's assuming they can fix it on the spot). Either way requires getting my battery jumped or possibly towing my car (just signed up for AAA).
Ugh, it really sucks having to deal with all this stuff by myself :( |

I have had zero (ZERO?!) zero motivation this week. Haven't made it into the gym since Monday morning.
Last week I thought it was because I was spending no time at home, so I skipped Thursday and Friday. But all that accomplished was to make me depressed because I was sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing (sure did make Ping happy though).
I think the biggest problem is I'm busting my ass off counting calories and spending 3~4 hours a day in the gym, but I have seen absolutely no results. In fact, the only time I ever see substantial results is when I basically starve myself. It's so frustrating and really kills any drive I have.
I need more change. Everything is so stagnant, and I hate that.
At least I finally started on transcripts again, but I really only work on that when I'm not at home and waiting around at places for various reasons (lately, mostly because of my car). I'm also starting to feel the programming itch again. I need to find some place away from home where I can sit down with my laptop, possibly with limited connectivity, and just work on getting things done.
Argh. |

After I got home from mini-golf last night, I simply could not stop sneezing. Woke up with a runny nose too. Now that my new insurance is in effect, I'm seriously tempted to see an allergist and find out what this is once and for all.
Man, this was a busy week. I started up Fitday again, and I put in lots of hours at the gym:
Monday: 2 hours
Tuesday: 0 hours
Wednesday: 4 hours
Thursday: 1 hour
Friday: 2 hours
Saturday: 1.5 hours
Sunday: 3 hours
Now, that doesn't necessarily mean it was the entire time, or that it was all at once (MWF are split across the day; T/TH will be the same but I slacked off this week), but that's how long I was physically in the gym. I'm going to be increasing Monday to match Wednesday, and I need to find something to do with Thursdays evenings.
(Tuesday is out of the question because of House <3)
Basically this is what I've been doing:
Group Exercise: yoga (x4), pump (x3), step, attack
Solo Exercise: stationary bike, elliptical, pyramid crunches (LOL)
Increasing Monday will add on a jam class, and if I decide to do cardio classes on T/TH early mornings, that will add a combat class and another step class. I'm really tempted to use that time to go swimming though... And in lieu of going to gym on Thursday nights, I'm thinking of finding a cheap driving range... we'll see.
Food-wise, I'm not doing too hot, but keeping track of it is already one step in the right direction. Unfortunately, I went out a lot this week cause of the debate and cause of the aforementioned coworker's birthday. |

I mean, WOW. I caught about 15 minutes of it on TV today and had to turn it off. LOL
Tomorrow is my officemate's birthday, so we decided to pull a prank on him...

Needless to say, it was the hit of the floor for the rest of the day. Unfortunately after I kept sneezing about 3/4 of the way through the day and I wondered if I was allergic to all the toner, he used that as an excuse to take pretty much everything down.

I don't think I've ever replayed a section of a song as much as I have with RYO's passage in SAYONARA. It gets to me every time, especially when it hits the "Don't cry, don't cry, because you're beautiful when you smile" part.
